There is no written policy stating whether or not women who work at Sanderson Farms Plant can wear nail polish, YET, some of our coworkers were written up for having nail polish. Despite the fact that other Sanderson Farms Plants allow women to wear nail polish and acrylic nails with no formal write ups being given. We are required to wear multiple gloves to prevent contamination of our high quality products and have never had any issue of such contamination. Thus, wearing finger nail polish does not pose any safety threats that should warrant formal write ups. There's no policy in place regarding this matter, so Please help end this discriminatory practice by signing the petition to remove these write and also put a policy in place that can help every one be on the same page in regard to dress code/nail polish.
