There is no written policy stating whether or not women who work at Sanderson Farms Plant can wear nail polish, YET, some of our coworkers were written up for having nail polish. Despite the fact that other Sanderson Farms Plants allow women to wear nail polish and acrylic nails with no formal write ups being given. We are required to wear multiple gloves to prevent contamination of our high quality products and have never had any issue of such contamination. Thus, wearing finger nail polish does not pose any safety threats that should warrant formal write ups. There's no policy in place regarding this matter, so Please help end this discriminatory practice by signing the petition to remove these write and also put a policy in place that can help every one be on the same page in regard to dress code/nail polish. Thank you

Seeing this kind of momentum grow fuels my hope that we can finally end these unfair write ups. It means the world to know so many people see how wrong it is to target my coworkers for something as simple as nail polish.

THEY LITERALLY TOLD ME I HAD TO TAKE MINE OFF TODAY. SMH.
This is rediculous. We got gloves on so what does it matter. Stop picking on us
Just let us have our nails. It doesnt hurt the chicken if we have gloves
Don’t understand the reason why not. They wear 2 to 3 pair of gloves anyway. Let women be women
We feel as we should be able to wear nails. We where gloves, so everything should be fine.
As long as we wear gloves it should be ok
If the workers wear gloves it shouldn’t better if they wear nail polish.

My supervisor is always on my back about this. Other plants dont care but here its a big deal. Needs to stop.
