We also need such a petition for Pokai Bay’s neighboring park Lualualei 11, which fronts a long stretch of residences on Pokai Bay Street. This bathroom there is also continually vandalized by druggies and homeless, one of whom was living on the bathroom roof. The open parking lot also should close early at 8 pm to cut down on neighborhood noise that annoys resident during all hours of the night. This is a neighborhood fronting park that needs strict rules to avoid conflicts with property tax paying citizens. Mahalo for your attention to this matter, Robert “Bunky” Bakutis

I support homeowners in this area. They are unified in there efforts to support the homeless but not at the expense of destroying the community.
