Petition 4 Pedestrian Crossing outside of Disraeli School

This is essential for the safety of children, parents, and residents.

I have nearly run a child over here. I was driving quite slowly (had just turned out of the nearby junction) but the child ran across the road on her way to school - she didn’t walk up to the lollipop man - if she had it would’ve been safer - it was a close shave that left me very shaken up.

Not just a crossing but raise the kerbs back up and create a larger speed bump to make it more obvious that you should slow down for people crossing.

The Pastures and Hughenden Avenue both need safe crossing points for the children to get to school.

This is 100% needed children’s safety is paramount

Also need something towards the top end of Hughenden Avenue too as that's just as dangerous, perhaps near Brindley Avenue turning
