The Maltese Government should be transparent and accountable to the Maltese public and submit all necessary evidence that the project respects fully all EU directives. The public authorities should ensure that independent technical experts are appointed so that this project respects fully international accepted standards. It is unacceptable and extremely amateurish to present only a preliminary quantitative risk assessment! Given the small size of the Maltese islands, this project does not only effect the residents in the immediate vicinties.
