Aside from the obvious risk to the immediate vicinity and its inhabitants, has anyone considered the farther-reaching consequences of blowing up two main lifelines of the economy: the power station itself and the Freeport facilities?

Thousands of human lives are put at risk and there are still alternative methods for obtaining fuel.

Well done Roberta for this initiative. As a resident very close to Marsaxlokk, I would like to know all the implications, positive or negative, that this project is going to bring. On my behalf, I thank you for being our voice in the European Parliament.

This floating liquid natural gas- carrying vessel is not safe and it is very dangerous not only for Marsaxlokk, Birzebbugia and Zejtun but mostly for the south. I think that our Prim Minister Joseph Muscat must change his plans and install the vessel outside Masaxlokk Bay
