I fully support this for the trauma we got through as parents,my four year old has a rare glioma cancer and the promulgation of this legislation will assist people who are going through the similar situations.

Children are really hidden patients. There is absolutely no justice in some organizations. There are no data elements, indicators to confirm performance, no accountability , and many a time no agenda item in any meeting .
Something needs to be done to do justice.

The South African Government must roll out provision of children's palliative care in all provinces without any further delay. This is long overdue!

Tata Madiba, The Father of our Nation said this about children:
The true character of society is revealed in how it treats its children. (27 September 1997)
If we are to follow his legacy we will take heed of these wise words.
Palliative Care for our young ones is an ABSOLUTE MUST and the President with all politicians should start taking steps to make this happen. We don't accept their "lack of funding" responses any longer. These are lame excuses that holds no water and is an easy way out to do nothing.
Palliative Care for our Children Must be Mandatory
