She is in a committed, loving relationship with a Canadian and truly loves this country. There is no reason that I see as to why her son shouldn't be allowed to join her. This wait has gone on far too long and the fact that Michelle can not get answers as to why or just to be able to call to see that her application has not been misplaced and In turn not getting processed. This is a huge flaw in the Canadian system. Canada is missing out on an opportunity to reunite a young boy who has been separated for too long from his mother . A mother that has proven herself as a good friend , an extremely hard dedicated worker and an all around exceptional person. she is a person that I would be proud to say that her and her son will be contributing members in our country. Please give attention to Michelle and approve her application before any more time has been lost between a mother and her son.

From the first conversation i had with Michelle regarding why she was in Canada, I felt so proud to be Canadian. She is the most appreciative person i know and really demonstrated to me how I unknowingly took it for granted to be Canadian. Over the last couple of years I have observed her to be the hardest working person i have ever met. She continues to improve herself and help her Canadian employers be successful. I have observed her brighten everyone's lives around her. I have seen her do so many nice things for people she knows and strangers she sees in need of help. It will make me proud to be a Canadian when Michelle receives her PR.
I cannot understand how it is expected that these caregivers come to Canada to care for our family members and yet leave their family behind for so many years. In Michelle's case to get her PR she has been waiting 8 years and counting from being able to live with son. 6 of those years has been waiting for Canadian approvals while in Singapore and now in Canada. I find this to be very unacceptable for Michelle or any other person going through this process. Seeing what she has had to do to get to Canada has really opened my eyes and given me such an appreciation for anyone who is going through the process. I am hopeful that Michelle's PR is approved soon and that the process is fixed so others do not have wait as long as Michelle has.
Despite the delays Michelle does not ask for this attention and remains a very positive person that is appreciative of all her opportunities and being in Canada.
