Motion to reinstate PGAWC 1st leg (Safii Ranch, Maasim, Sarangani province, Region 12, Philippines) FAI sanction

Sarangani is the best fly site of the Philippines with a full support of the LGU, NGU and most of the private business in the city. Other than that it is also a very safe and full accommodating to our pilot visitor or participants of the event. I am also the son of the land owner of the event fly Itr.

As a competitor who achieved good results in this competition, I strongly support the reinstatement of the FAI  sanction for the 1st leg of PGAWC 2015 at Sarangani, Philippines.  The organiser did a good job for this competition, the location is a nice place for paragliding, and the people of the Philippines are friendly and hospitable. But because of the last minute removal of the FAI sanction, it is not fair to the competitors who have paid for airfares and travel expenses to go for this competition to gain CIVL ranking points. If the FAI sanction is not reinstated, the reputation of paragliding in the Philippines will be strongly affected negatively.  Any subsequent competitions organised in the Philippines, be it organised by the same organiser or a different one, I will think twice whether I should to participate or not.  And I believe not just me, all other competitors from all over the world, who are looking to gain ranking points, will think twice whether to go for any competitions organised in the Philippines.

Its time to clean up the mess and do away with politicking. Its destroying the paragliding community in the country. Philippines Paragliding should have stand-alone NAC that can understand the true sentiments of the sports. We don't need a repressive NAC but a supportive NAC.
