this is very important for us as orland residents (4 registered voters in Orland Park). We want the voters to decide.

Exactly WHAT were these people thinking?
Wait, I think I know.
They WEREN'T thinking.
I hope you three enjoy your stint on the Township Board now because you'll be gone once your term is done.

If the DMV can’t stay at the current location, there are plenty of empty store spaces to relocate.

Eliminating the SOS services from Orland Park is a dis-service to the residents. A new space somewhere else in Orland Park would have been a better option to consider.

I have made use of the Orland Park DMV many times and believe it is a very helpful location for our area. The manner in which the board carried out this decision is extremely troubling- the community should have been made aware of what they were considering and been able to offer input.
This location is very convenient for many many people- by kicking the DMV out the board has made it more difficult for many folks who may have limited access to transportation, as well as mobility to utilize the DMV’s services. Senior citizens and low income folks in the area will certainly be affected in my opinion.
In addition, the employees at the Orland facility were PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. I have not found this to be the case in Joliet, that’s for sure!!

I understand that this is the busiest secretary of state office in the state of Illinois? Heard that on the radio.

Bring back the SOS office, you are not doing this for the good of the taxpayers but underhanded politics. Shame on you.
