Enough with the rezoning already. We bought in Oyster Point for the schools and they keep moving the goalposts. Let our kids finish their middle school years in peace!

We are tired of being treated like pawns in these district games. Please stop changing the rules for us every single year.

Ridiculous that they keep messing with District 2 when our schools are doing just fine. Leave Laing alone.

I am NOT in favor of CCSD's changes/removal of partial magnet status from the Laing. Currently I live in Oyster Point and choose to send my child to Jennie Moore Elementary. We plan to apply for Laing, when the time comes, not only so that our child can continue to attend school with her current classmates, but also because Laing is an award-winning STEM school. Additionally, I'm very disappointed in the amount of time and resources spent to rezone District 2 this past year when the numbers considered, at that time, were based on schools which included partial magnet status. It just appears as if we are working backwards.

My son attends Laing only due to this magnet school program and only after changes were made to the zoning n MP after we signed a contraact to move into this neighborhood. We chose OP due to the zoning at the time and were surprised by the Whitesides decision first ad then the Laing rezoning decisions, only after our son started his career at Laing.
