The residents of Granite City don’t deserve to have a data center built in this small mostly poor community. Water Bills are extremely high and hard to even pay now with mine being on average 140 a month with only 2 people in the household. Power bills are outrageous right now for our community. As a single father I can barely afford the utilities now before the great price increases that would come after the data center is built and sucks up the towns resources. I feel I speak for most people in Granite city when I say this. The noise pollution along with potential health problems that will arise from having a data center in our community is not worth it to the people of Granite City and they should not be subjected to this. For the sake of the community please do not let a data center be allowed to Granite City or our surrounding areas! The people deserve better!

I do Not want this data center near me! I understand it's supposed to be good for the city but sticking it out off rt3 in basically Mitchell is insulting whenever it could go in mor industrial areas that can support the noise and cluster of issues. Put it on the Port or next to Walmart. Not in people's back yards.

Why can't this be built in the blighted area of the city instead of a quiet peaceful area? Build around the rest of the industrial complexes.
We should be building homes with housing shortage going on in this country .
