Many students in QVMS have used NationStates to enrich their understanding or politics, government, history, and the world around us. Recently McAffe Web Gateway blocked NationStates, an educational site with a fun twist. In NationStates you make your own country and decide for it as leader. You make a flag and can name the Capital City. You can also join a region and learn about how continents work together. I've learned many things from NationStates and have seen arguments from the other side of my political belief. I've also learned what Federal Republics are. Many of the students at QVMS loved the educational site and outraged by the block. I Henry Veeck hereby petition to unblock NationStates and continue to enjoy our opportunities to enrich our understanding of government,politics,and history for the better of our school.
