Our schools are becoming over crowded due to the number of new subdivisions in the area. These school have no land to expand nor land available to build more schools. There r plenty of smaller homes for sale in the area

My family and I live across the street at Burnt Hickory Township, a small subdivision of 14 homes. Our subdivision, and many homes near us, are concerned with the proposed density and lot size will dramatically change the look and feel of this area of Burnt Hickory Road characterized by a sprawling horse farm, expansive pastures, and many large parcel estate homes.
The County needs to look at the current level of service of traffic on burnt hickory road and the site distance with proposed entrance given the increase in cars lately using burnt hickory road. Increased density will increase traffic in this area and overcrowd schools including Due West Elementary.

Please do not approve this change. We already have increased traffic, and crowded schools. We do not need to degrade this area more.

I strongly oppose rezoning. Follow the Land Use Plan and keep this zoned as R30.

Stick to the Land Use Plan. There is a reason it is in place. There are too many new subdivisions in this area already. Our schools are over capacity now.

This development will immediately negatively impact traffic and schools. There are too many similar developments set to hit the market at the same time. The market will be saturated and over developed!

Traffic is horrific already on that road... Maybe the commission should try a couple of rush hour drives
