Totally disgraceful, this is a complete disregard for the rights of the people living on Long Island. Heath reasons, property values are all at risk— it’s hard enough , to live on Long Island ,-are the politicians trying to run people off Long Island? Very sad and troublesome situation!

This concerns me. Until more is known and adequate safeguards are in place, this facility will be a ticking time bomb. See stories about firefighting foam chemicals PFOS and PFAS to get an idea about the scope of the potential dangers here.
