This facility does not belong where they are proposing to put it in Holtsville - the sheer size of it & the surrounding residential areas & schools makes this a very poor location - in case of a fire or emergency

Allowing this will set a precedent for installation of these BESS systems in the middle of every neighborhood across our state. The safety issues need to be addressed, and they have not. Fire Departments are uncomfortable with these systems being installed - no training, no equipment to control these types of fires. This is absurd. Brookhaven is politically inclined to work against residents.
