I don't want to live near explosive poisonous power plants. Build it in the wilderness somewhere away from civilization

We need our elected officials to protect us from corporate greed, and from building this plant in the middle of residential and commercial property is risk of exposure to fire in toxic chemicals. I understand the need for safe energy storage but I don’t think this is the place to put it.

Don’t want this here! No one does. It’s a danger to our area. There are elderly ppl, families, wildlife to think of. We cannot have this in our neighbors and near our schools. These batt storage fac.’s cause fires, toxic chemicals released into the air We cannot evacuate which we would have to do. Where do ppl go, where do kids at school go if they need to be evacuated???? This doesn’t belong in our neighborhood. Decreases the value. No one wants to live near this. We already have large PSEG power site, dump, industrial businesses in the area. We don’t need this here. Put somewhere else!!

This should never be allowed to be built so close to schools and homes! This is a huge danger to our lives. There are too many fires at these sites that are not able to be contained. Please do not ever build these in such populated areas.

Common sense please..why would anyone want to take the chance of a tragedy…especially when the track record of these facilities is terrible and dangerous..

This poses a high risk, not only to the residents in the area, but also to our local fire depts.

This is a HUGE mistake and an accident waiting to happen. Rethink the placement of this facility that is not near homes and schools.

It is extremely unsafe to be building this so close to residential homes.

There is no way a fire at one of these facilities can be contained, no less the toxic plumes that will impact our air and groundwater for miles and miles away. Long Island is not big enough to be able to store these hazardous batteries. It is too close to homes, businesses and schools.

Just curious, what company is the energy supplier and who are the targeted users?
