Battery Energy Storage Facilities DO NOT belong in the middle of residential neighborhoods!

Having a facility like this, so close to neighborhoods and schools is unsafe. Fires, pollutants and industrial facilities in residential zones is a negative on all levels. Brookhaven should have been extremely transparent about this issue long before it was in our backyards. Aside from the safety and health concerns this poses, it will deter people from wanting to live in or buy homes in the area, driving down our property values.

To close to residential neighborhoods. No fair house were there first. Build where there are no houses. Then when they build homes the people will have a choice to live near a battery facility

Brookhaven Town feels they can do as they wish without community approval. These facilities should not be in densely populated areas.
