Collectives for Rural New Mexico Medical Cannabis Patients

I live in Tierra Amarilla and don't have access to quality meds without making a long drive which is hard on my PTSD and pain levels I also cannot grow because I live in low income housing really makes it difficult

Alcohol is way worse,and has been identified as the real gateway drug,and its legal,in all 50 states,

Let's get some collectives going!

Marijuana is medicine. Legalize it!

I have friends with similar issues in rural areas! Like Alamogordo New Mexico no doctor in town will prescribe medical marijuana to any patient! Nor is there a dispensary close by other than Ruidoso or Las Cruces. I have personally experienced the denial of production license because what landlord in their right mind is going to consider signing something like that! And if you dare ask you run the risk of getting kicked out!

Safe access and having ACCESS is the L&ECUA in essence. Our rural areas are very under served and they deserve to begin the process of having collectives. They will be true to rules but - new rules will be in place for cooperatives. A great step in the right direction! I'm all for this and wish it was already approved. People are hurting. Work out the details and involvement. Let's DO this!

Cooperatives should be an option for providing needed medication to those who can't grow their own.

Hello, my name is Jordan lucero, and I agree with this article. It is so hard for me to get a job with my cannabis card, buy high quality flower for good prices (Only Sacred Garden Hooks it up all the time with the best pre-rolls.) and it's just getting annoyed. So yes I do agree and will sign this petition as a legal cannabis patient.

Safe access for ALL New Mexican Patients is the intention of LECUA. Allowing licensed coo-ops to service patients without safe access, sounds like a win-win situation. Count me in!

I shouldn't have to tell a complete stranger (my landlord) that I'm growing medical cannabis. It's puts me and others living there in danger.

I absolutely agree with this petition. Rural areas should have the right to access affordable cannabis in their respective areas.

The Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act was passed in 2007, and yet, nearly ten years later and the safe access to cannabis medicine is still denied to thousands of New Mexicans. NM DOH, this is totally unacceptable and be fixed immediately with Collectives.

It's really time to get rid of this insane monopoly the supposed nonprofit producers have on the state. They are not about compassionate access or we would've seen it already. An we haven't. Only a game of monopoly where the pot barons are trying to make their stake in the game before recreational. Maybe even smaller licenses like 25-50 plants for a lot less buy in. Then put a limit like 200 producers. Something really high in mumber. Also if one folds, the license is then recycled and reused. No more access deserts!!!

I'm signing this because we need collectives in NM. Especially in rural areas where they have almost no choices for their medicine since there are no or few LNPP's that don't have access to what they need. That goes against the L&ECUA. Make it right.
