Call for a new North Greenwich – Kidbrooke Village bus route

Desperately needed to avoid overcrowding on existing public transport routes

We definitely need a better connection with North Greenwich!

We are only two miles but yet it takes so long to get to Greenwich from kidbrooke.

We need this connection between Kidbrooke and North Greenwich badly!

Very much needed. Have to let at least 3 buses go by before I could even get on most mornings

I THINK THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. I'VE A YOUNG BABY AND AM CONSTANTLY HAVING TO WAIT FOR 2/3 BUSES BEFORE I CAN BOARD AND HAVE TO WAIT AGES BETWEEN THEM.

Last week I was stood up by bus 132 not stopping cause it was full. Today happened again. Sometimes is two buses one after the other leaving a lot of customers stranded

This morning at 6.35 the 132 bus drove past yet again, full, without stopping. It doesn't seem to matter whether it is 6.30 or 7.30 in the morning. This is a common occurrence and happens several times per week and it feels to be getting worse. If I do manage to get on, it is usually dangerously full and a very uncomfortable journey. This route desperately needs more buses and the idea of a bus from Kidbrooke is very welcome.

Better linking Blackheath with North Greenwich and the Hubilee line would be hugely beneficial, given Blackheath's pretty poor transport offering! A night bus would be great too, so we can benefit from the night tube.

Must be a frequent double-decker and via Kidbrooke Park Road. Desperately needed now given 132 generally full at Wricklemarsh Road between 8 and 9am or two come at the same time (after huge gap) so one is taken out of service despite two buses of people waiting.

Fully support this petition and am a little disappointed that someone has had to create a petition for something that TFL know about and are choosing to ignore

Of late, the 132 bus route has more of a demand increase in usage. There is always a huge crowd of people waiting to get on at the starting point of North Greenwich, with many people getting off before East Greenwich, thus denying those who need to go further afield the chance to get on. This is no-one's fault, really. The 132 just seems to be a really oversubscribe route with the bus nearly empty by the time it gets to Greenwich. This is my humble opinion, but why not have the route between N. Greenwich to Eltham?

I am lucky enough to get on the 108 in Blackheath so can usually get a seat in the morning. I always feel terrible for the many people who are left waiting at later bus stops because the driver cannot take anymore passengers!

The overcrowding on buses is beyond a joke. I am one of many who can wait up to half an hour in the mornings for a bus that is not already dangerously over full to stop so that we can get to work.

Please consider this cause, as it really does cause a lot of stress, and impact many, who travel from North Greenwich on the bus, to get home, after long working days. Our personal route is the 132, which is quite erratic, and does not run enough buses per hour. People tend to show their worst behaviour when trying to board the bus, at North Greenwich, with extremely un-British pushing and shoving, and absolutely no etiquette in terms of queuing in any form, due to limited space at the bus stop, and this is becoming all too common these days, at any given time of travel, not just peak hours. I've used this since we moved to this area, in 2010, and it could do with a revamp. Making them double deckers was a good move, and supposedly, there is one more bus an hour, than was, in 2010. But the supply has still not met demand, alas. One idea is that the 132 bus does not stop by the Greenwich Odeon (where the old Sainsbury's was) route, as many people get on at North Greenwich, and get off at East Greenwich, which is a few stops. This impacts those going to Eltham, and further, to Bexleyheath. Just my idea, from observation. Thanks for your consideration.
