It seems the new Florence-Lauderdale Animal Shelter isn’t job # 1 as was promised by the new city administration in 2013. One would guess all of the council was not supportive of it. But they did support a new tourism building and now they are supporting a new Indian Mound museum. The lives of animals do not matter? The shelter is OLD and falling apart and we needed our city leaders to KEEP it moving, not let it get stalled.
