This concerns me immensely as someone who thinks through things by writing! Physically writing, not typing, not drawing with a mouse. I am sure there is a solution which keeps the integrity of the exam without compromising the ability of test takers to, you know, TAKE their test.

Please retain our ability to use scratch paper for these exams. Some of us find it critical in answering questions to the best of our ability.

Plz do not remove the scratch paper - this has been a helpful component given the questions asked that require information to be written down to better answer the questions asked. As the questions are way overloaded with information.

I agree with this petition. I just took an exam and had error messages while taking it, why can't NCARB fix THOSE issues before they make more things digital. It's going to be yet another hurdle to get over while taking this exam. Just let us have our note paper. Spend resources on other needs.

Kinesthetic learners and visual learners need a way to recall their information. digital is NOT the same as actually using your hand.

This is garbage. Why is this what NCARB choosing to implement instead of making sure exams DO NOT shut down or crash during an exam.

If online exam security is the issue, being required to take notes on a proven blank whiteboard that is then erased in front of the proctor seems an easy solution that doesn't strip us visual thinkers of a critical tool that cannot be replicated on a screen.

Why would you take away paper for in-person testing? What is the reasoning behind that? With so many visual learners who work through their options on paper, that just cant be substituted on a computer screen.

Seeing this amount of people comment on this change should show NCARB that their focus has again shifted to exam features and not to concerns voiced by test takers over the last few years.
