Underpaying players for no good reason has a long, ugly history in baseball. Someday we'll look back at how minor leaguers are paid the same way we look back at how Major Leaguers were paid in the pre-Marvin Miller days.

MLB owners are cheapskates. The low pay of Minor Leaguers comes close to abuse.

These young men work too hard to get where they are at. Long bus rides and battling through injuries to pursue their dreams are just a few of the hurdles. Let's support the future of MLB!

It is beyond ludicrous that MLB expects minor league communities to "adopt" players. The people in those communities aren't generally wealthy but they have been subsidizing MLB's greed for years. Enough!

I grew up watching minor league games because my dad couldn't afford to take us to major league games very often. It was a wonderful experience and instilled a deep love of the game in me. Major league baseball owners make so much money, they can afford to pay their minor league players better.

It's time for professional baseball to leave the middle ages and that starts by paying players what they are worth.

I enjoy MiLB ballgames. A) it would be horrible for MiLB to contract (MLB should increase the subsidy of MiLB), and B) the players are the future of MLB.

Their coaches also do great work at low pay as well.

Best of luck in correcting this inequity.
