Pat and Lamar have been true leaders in an evolving Las. Eggs during a time in the 80s and early 90s when things were not so certain

Parents of a dear friend, and I think actually are my friends now because of it. They are some of the coolest people I know, and so deserving of the honor!

I would support this even if I never knew of their professional and philanthropic accomplishments. They are, to me, first and and foremost, two people I have looked up to for 20 years for their exemplary commitment to their family and each other. They are still some of the coolest parents I've ever known, even 20 years later. The integrity, grace and compassion they embody are exactly the traits Clark County schools should be working to instill in students. What better way to lead by example than to celebrate how far those values can take you?

Instead of real estate developers it is time we recognized people who have developed our community. Pat and Lamar have significantly contributed to the welfare of Las Vegas and the state. Their foresight and work gave us a wonderful and informative radio channel all can look to for news and classical music. KNPR keeps us informed about our state and nation. It contributes to the education of our community, by making us more informed and knowledgeable about world, national, and local events. Pat and Lamar deserve to have a CCSD school named after them. Their honorable dedication to the welfare of our community and its citizenry should be recognized by all.

If there are any two people in Las Vegas who deserve to be recognized for their tremendous achievements, it's my parents. They have given back to the community a thousandfold. <3

The Marcheses are inspirational to younger generations of Las Vegans, such as myself. Having known them since my teen years, both Lamar and Pat have been encouraging role models; I now look up to them from the perspective of a founding nonprofit director in Las Vegas. To say the least, the school naming would be very well-deserved.
