The safety of 'children and their parents' should be the first concern in every situation so PEI Government please listen to, and act on the valid concerns of this group.

People have the right for their legitimate concerns to be listened to by politicians. It is time our politicians realized we will not stasnd for their high-handed disregard of the people who they are supposed to serve.

New highways are nice but this established childcare center needs to have safe access for their children and parents. Safe access to this center should be a priority!!

I thought the TCH "improvements" were "all about safety" - so surely it's a no-brainer to give the daycare a safe access area away from the highway. .......

Something is seriously wrong when TIR has zero interest in the concerns of a community. You think they might have learned something from the years long protests of Bonshaw residents.

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that when building highways on PEI it is "all about safety". What is happening in Tryon flies in the face of that statement, and there has been a distinct lack of transparent communication between TIR and local citizens. An easy, cheap fix is available, and in signing this petition you will put pressure on the government to, if not get it right, then at least get it a little less wrong this time.

This gov't has such disregard for the needs of more than just a handful of people.

I think with the road changes, it is going to be very dangerous for the day care centre.

Anyone who has ever tried to access Merry Pop-Ins from the road, from either direction, knows how treacherous the entry is. This is a golden opportunity for the Department of Transportation to modify access to the daycare centre when they are already making modifications to the TCH in the same area!

They'll be coming around the new curve right into entering cars
