This really needs to be taken off it's annoying that we payed so much just to be punished by not being able to play online with our friends in the states smh

My bf lives in the US, I live in the UK. We both bought Mortal Kombat XL to play together online only to find out we cannot play together due to region lock. We are both very annoyed and wish we never bought the damn game. Huge disappointment and total waste of money. :(

Having Injustice and MK9 on Xbox, it's a real shame to think I can no longer interact with some of the best of the best competitive MK players because I've now switched to PS4.
