I'm here to voice my opinion on why another team that has not been mentioned amongst the media, should consider relocating to Los Angeles. That team being the New York Jets.

The New York Jets are currently sharing MetLife Stadium with the New York Giants.

I realize MetLife Stadium is fairly new and opened recently in April 2010. Despite, the lease agreement between the Giants and Jets that runs through 2035.

My question is, why continue to be second fiddle to the New York Giants?

Before there was MetLife Stadium, they were playing in the Meadowlands at Giants Stadium! Lets not forget the idea of "West Side Stadium" which crumbled in 2005.

Los Angeles can offer the Rose Bowl or the LA Coliseum as possible short-term locations while a new stadium is being built.

Aside from stadium leases and locations, the fans of Los Angeles desperately want a NFL team to return.

Its been 20+ years since an NFL team has played in Los Angeles. The Rams and Raiders both relocated in 1994.

In my opinion, the Raiders and Rams should not have a 2nd chance with the city of Los Angeles. Its already failed once, what will make the people of Los Angeles believe, not to mention confident, it will work out the second time around?

The New York Jets coming to Los Angeles would be a new start. They would not have to change the team name. The Los Angeles Jets has a nice ring to it. The abbreviation of "LAJ" on television would not look bad either. Keep in mind, owner Woody Johnson just hired former Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles as the new head coach. In addition, the Jets have the 6th pick in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft to select a potential franchise player. Imagine the fans cheering "L-A JETS, L-A JETS, J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!"

Although New York is the largest market in the US and already has a huge fan base that support the Jets. At the end of the day, you're sharing it with another NFL team.

Why not consider moving to a different location, being that Los Angeles is the 2nd largest market in the nation, and create your own empire? The opportunities are endless in the City of Angels!

Now I realize this petition may not make its way to Woody Johnson and the New York Jets organization. Let alone, any mainstream outlets. Therefore, I'm looking for support amongst the people to receive 20 million signatures in favor of the New York Jets moving to Los Angeles.

With Roger Goodell announcing no LA team for the 2015 season. There is now plenty of time to possibly let voiced be heard amongst NFL fans. Thank you all for your support!
