Unfair outrages charges they say you are charged an amount according to how much power you use my last power bill was $140. and my lines bill was $260 how is this right I feel we are getting ripped off big time and there is nothing we can do about it other than go solar power that we are looking into.

Also I was one of the petitioners that supported Mr McNab in our petition to Parliament...The Petition from Ohakune and Taumarunui got over 1100 to signed it....and with The McNabb Petition we had over 3600 signatures.......Melissa Lee chaired the Commerce Committee hearing which suggested no change....
I also would like to add me name to this petition

This lines set up is unfair and needs to change. We have a property that will only be occupied a small percentage of the year but we will have to pay as if their is some the there every day.

Wherever there is a monopoly these issues arise. Time to loose the monopoly in this instance. Open it up to fair competition then let's see what The Lines Co do? Just make it fair and equitable.

Many families in Turangi struggle to put food on the table for their children. So many arrive at school without lunches let alone have the luxury of breakfast at home. The lines company charges are ridiculous. Give us a fair go.

Taumarunui and surrounding areas, (that includes Turangi and surrounding areas) are victims of 'The Lines Company'. Please edit this petition to include ALL of those that are under 'The Lines Company's' demanding thumb.
