I feel like the balisong community is growing and that they should be legal so other people won't be afraid to try it.

This needs to happen. There should be no restrictions on weapons in the United States of America. Because this can fall under the second amendment as a type of arms.

Balisongs are not the dangerous weapon they are portrayed as. Manipulating a balisong is an art and should be legal everywhere.

The ban of Bali-songs is unreasonable, impractical, and a detriment to law abiding people who wish to use them as a cutting tool or for recreation.

Butterfly knifes have been apart of my life for a really long time. People are constantly being asked, "but arnt those illegal?" They just want to flip on peace without having to look up what the law is in my area. Make butterfly knifes legal. If they banned it because of the number of ER trips, slap them on the wrist and tell them to get a trainer knife first, dull their blade, put tape over it. Just some kind of barricade while they are till a beginner. Then when they are good at it then they can take it off or get a real blade and with that the number of ER trips will decline from once it use to be.

Thanks to everyone for your support. I think if people have the information and word gets out the inevitable end of the nonsensical and obsolete law can come sooner.

I fortunately live in a state that has this legalization, but there are people in the world who cant participate in what has been life changing for me and I believe people should be able to pursue their interests, as some are even more dangerous than what we do.
