Recently, we received a beautiful Charles Brand Press from the Lenker family in Essex, CT. After consulting with faculty, we realize one of our older, smaller presses is no longer needed. Therefore, we are holding a raffle for this press. If you have serious interest in utilizing this press for your work, please sign this petition no later than Friday, April 14. (No late entries will be accepted.)
We will select the recipient of the press by randomized drawing.
Please only enter if you intend to use the press. Many people have expressed serious interest in this machine and it would be a pity if it went to someone who merely intended to sell it or let it collect dust.

The response from our student body confirms how much energy there is for our local printmaking community. I am taking care to verify that everyone who signed is currently enrolled to ensure the process remains fair for those who intend to use the press in their personal work.

Seeing the growing interest in this press highlights how deeply our students value the craft of physical printmaking. It is encouraging to watch so many of you express a genuine commitment to keeping this tradition alive in your own work.

This would be so amazing and allow for printing to coninute in my work as I venture out to getting my own studio. Good luck to everyone!
It would be a nice experience to fix this press up with my dad. He is known for fixing printing presses like this one as well as large industrial ones.

I really need this for my final project. My apartment is finally big enough to hold one and i promise to put it to good use everyday.
