OPSEU Local 560 would like to hold a General Meeting of Members (GMM). The OPSEU constitution Article 29 states in part that a GMM should occur twice a year and also that “A special general meeting of the Local shall be convened upon the written request of at least ten per cent of the membership.”

Our Local is not being operated in accordance with many of the provisions of Article 29 including budget approvals and officer elections.

To get back to compliance the undersigned are requesting that a special general meeting of the Local be convened. This meeting will be either virtual or hybrid to comply with local health guidance. An agenda will be provided in advance of the meeting.
