A much more logical solution and bring in flow testing regularly to quickly isolate positives.

The current situation is not viable and we need a more clear, realistic strategy and approach around a number of items - this being just one. I don’t support mask wearing but at a minimum if you’re wearing masks you should avoid a quarantine! Kids belong in school learning and free of distractions! We cannot allow another year or disrupted and inferior learning for our children!

Totally agree, it's harmful for children and single parents

Vaccinated teachers should be able to return quicker after casual or close contact.

Totally agree. Kids are the ones who suffer the most.

The future generation is needlessly suffering. Why bother with all the additional safety measures in school if 14 days quarantine is still needed. Makes no sense! YES! Keep our kids in school please!

Our children need to be in school and unmasked in my opinion.

Please we can't do this to our kids again. Their mental health is at stake. Their learning and social development is at stake. Let the parents assess their risk profile and give permission for their kids to attend school once a negative result is obtained. Asymptomatic spread is not a thing! What is the point of masking all day long and keeping kids in their socially distanced bubbles when automatic quarantine is mandated regardless of test results or symptoms!!

Schools and teachers are often an extension to the family and children thrive by being in school.

These children need to stay in school for their development and social well being.

Fully supportive of keeping safe and logical quarantines, but agree that consistency in schools is needed. Having to quarantine for 14 days when your child has been exposed to someone who has potentially been exposed to a person contracting COVID feels like a rule that can be improved on...

Schools can’t stay open if teachers are also needing to be home with their casual contact children, leaving holes in already stretched staffing that can’t be covered and therefore causing school closures. Vaccinated teachers should also be able to test early to get back to their classrooms.

I would rather run the risk of Covid than the kids being in home school with zero socializing
