A simple look into his full background check would suggest otherwise. Since it's not public record, I will refrain from reposting what was on there. But if you think this man is harmless, there's legal proof that is a false statement. He has violent offenses as well. He may be mentally unwell and in need of an evaluation and help, that I agree. But he is also capable of violent behavior and is a danger to the community.

I have known Mike/his parents for years. What he needs is an evaluation and in patient therapy,as he is literally unable to take personal care of himself. He is very mentally challenged. He is illiterate and can barely sign his own name. It is so sad that he doesn't understand what he has done wrong. He cannot comprehend the seriousness of his charges. He doesn't even know the meaning of the two words disorderly conduct let alone lewd and lascivious acts. He prob thought he was just being funny when he approached these girls. Although, anyone not personally knowing the man would not obviously come to that conclusion, He is truly not aware that he has broken the law. He is actually a very friendly(overly friendly) and harmless man. If one of these women had shown him something of a personal nature, (not that I believe anyone in our community would have) he more than likely would have drove off in fear and been very confused. I am by NO MEANS trying to defend or make excuses for his recent and past behavior. But at the same time, I also believe that there are far more dangerous and threatening people roaming our streets in our area. This is due to the fact that no one (including family members) are legally allowed to commit anyone to a mental institution or even suggest evaluations for family members or other people of this nature. Per fairly recent law passed in the state of Wisconsin. The mentally challenged person is the Only individual that can commit themselves or request help of any mental nature. Now seriously how many of these people are willing or capable of doing that. This makes absolutely No sense what so ever to me. And this also is one of the many reasons we have situations like this. Please address the fact that prejudging people on hear say and social media information is completely on fair. Putting this man in front of a jury of his piers is never going to happen unless they are all in the same category as he is when it comes to mental status. In whi

This could escalate to a much more serious crime with this person. He seems to be "testing" the waters. Who knows what he might do next.

I live in a small town close to Brodhead and would hate to think that this guy could start preying on girls there next. I'd be afraid to let my daughter outside to play. This guy needs to be off the streets to keep his target group safe. He has a record which means this isn't the first time and certainly won't be his last if he's left unchecked. He obviously has a problem that needs to be dealt with accordingly and he should have to pay the price for his actions, more than just a slap on the wrist .

People like this should not be walking free. I had a similar incident happen to me when I was a child and although all he did was say and show things it's ..there is still that what if that plays mind..this guy should not have a chance to get a what if. Next times his crimes may not be so little..do we really want to risk exposing or children to that possibility!! Put him away or on treatment facility of some sort bit get him off our streets and away from our innocent children!
