I would like to see a big beautiful YMCA with indoor pool included into the plan. It is a great resource for Arlington.

We would campaign vigorously against any development on the Y parcel that does not taper to green space, or low residential at a minimum, at the corner of 13th and Kansas - the current site of the dilapidated house the Y has left unimproved for 10 years.

"Planning" is a misnomer this GLUP process. There is no holistic approach to this development and its impact on the host neighborhood, particularly when coupled with the other incursions by the county in their proposed Buck purchase (without any usage plan) and the unilateral, yet cloaked, efforts by APS on the property at Washington-Lee HS and the Ed Center. Excessive density, traffic, and stress played upon the existing infrastructure need to be examined on the whole with all of these processes combined into one.

3511 North 13th St - with no sidewalk on our side of street - traffic often has to wait to single lane past our house - although we part off street, our house access is often blocked by excess parked vehicles
