A fuel truck is a much needed addition to Frankfort

This Airport is a great assist to the County and to the City of Frankfort. With the future growth of flight operations and the increase of more aircraft being based here. It would be great to have a fuel truck again. Matt and Adam do a fantastic job and would do anything for us. A fuel truck would be used by people on and off the field. I also believe it would help the staff of the airport as well and increase income for the airport. Thank you for all you have done and will do for this airport in my opinion we have one of the nicest facilities and staff in the Midwest. Thank you for consideration in purchasing a fuel truck and helping FKR take another great step forward.

This would be a great service to the pilots that call this home for their planes.

The staff are First Wing are excellent and ALWAYS willing to help push aircraft around which is awesome but moving aircraft by hand (yes, my aircraft must be moved by hand) poses increased risk to the aircraft as well those moving the aircraft - particularly when the ramp and taxiway surfaces are slick due to rain, snow, or ice. Having a fuel truck would alleviate these concerns.

I fly in quite a bit for some business in Frankfort. The airport has some of the best staff and facilities in the state. A fuel truck would be great and take this airport to the next level. Sometimes when I fly in, Sky Dive Indy is in front of the tanks. It’s just a small inconvenience so I swing by somewhere else to get fuel. I think a fuel truck would be a great asset to the airport.

FKR needs a fuel truck to provide better service to the customers on field. As I am one of the biggest 100LL users on the field I end up filling at other locations sometimes because this inconvenience of either having to self fuel or making it difficult on employees working at FKR. I think it is important for growth to provide this basic service at such a nice airport. Thanks

I’m in and out of Frankfort usually every week, and FKR is too nice of a facility to not have the basics of a fuel truck available for both aircraft based on field and transients. I think you’ll find it a time saver in the end for staff as well!

A fuel truck would have been very helpful calibrating my new JPI 960. We had to put a 130 gal in with 5 gal cans.

Most airports have a fuel truck. Not having one is inconvenient and just causes more work for airport staff as they have to tow planes afterwards.

Fueling from a fixed position can be time consuming and create congestion at peak times, which in turn can create hotspots. A fuel truck, on the other hand, can keep congestion down and speed up service. Please bring a truck to KFKR! :)

Maybe a rental contract on a reconditioned truck would work. I have to push my plane in winter if I am not leaving that day unless I go through half hour warming procedure to protect my new engine, etc. My plane is difficult to tow if not done correctly.
