Mr. Carter is the only AP Calculus teacher in our entire struggling math department. He is one of the realest teachers Oakmont has ever had. He is not afraid to joke around with his students but he keeps his classes serious and effective and has earned the respect of all of his classes. He is an excellent teacher with years of experience, almost as much as the whole department combined and his AP student hail him for his effectiveness and how well he prepared them for the test. He is being let go for seemingly no real reason. Sign this petition to help him keep this job because Oakmonts math department seriously needs him as a mentor for the other teachers and as a capable and strong teacher for pre-calc and calculus.
