Support for new K-8 Pope School

We need to fix the school systems and that starts with better facilities to educate our children.

The time is way overdue. Get your head out of the sand. BUILD A NEW POPE SCHOOL!!! No discussion,no more excuses!!!!

I support Dr. Jones and his vision for JMCSS. Alexander and the others to create the “fab five” should be embarrassed of themselves!

We need a new school

As a North Jackson resident and Pope teacher, I support a new school building. Pope School is bursting at the seams with K-6 students. The 6th grade students must shuttle to Northeast to participate in Middle School sports. The Fine Arts are inadequate for Middle School students. Many classes are located in older portable buildings with poor access to inadequate bathroom facilities. A K-8 Pope School would be an asset to the community and provide North Jackson what was promised for future growth and advancement for our children.

I worked at Pope for 8 years. I assure you the school needs to be rebuilt, Pope has served it's purpose, but it's time to move forward with the build. Our children deserve this.

Was needed back in 1990 when my children started going to school there. We have lost so many to private schools over the years and businesses don’t come to Jackson due to the poor state of education and buildings in Madison County. Our children are our future!

I fully support the building of a K-8 school in the North part of Jackson. I hope the school board will follow through with this plan.

My great nephew goes to this school and they have my full support.
