Our students and teachers are in desperate need to have an educational facility that is functional, that is large enough to meet the demands of our community, and is obviously supported by the community. A separate high school would be an agenda item for future discussions, but the elementary and middle school need to proceed.

I feel a new K-8 school on Ashport Rd is vital to the future of the JMCSS and it’s teachers and students. I wonder if the board has considered the upkeep costs along with the safety hazards that surely are present at the current 70 year old Pope Elementary school.

Would love to send my children to this school as I have heard great things, but the physical appearance has been a deterant and I would love to see it rebuilt.

With the world we are in now why should we make theses kiddos and their families worry about something like this. We are a pleasing nation when it benefits us so make this change for the benefit of these kids and their families.
