This is something that cannot be tolerated and must have retribution. This man has not only taken from the Del Dotto family but has spread a path of destruction with his former employees. They are hard working people who were just trying to support their families. Shame on Mr. Hill.

He must do the time for the crime! Many other companies were also hurt financially by his actions including mine.

A felony conviction would prevent the defendant from obtaining an alcohol license.

There is no excuse for not prosecuting and sentencing to the full extent of the law. Real costs are one thing, but opportunity costs must be added to fully grasp the impact of these felonious acts.

Not sticking to your own terroir is a criminal offense. No question. Especially when considering viniculture. Terroir matters and Mr (down)Hill defrauded and misled customers as well as partners. Let the law prevail.

Stealing $800,000 of anything is hardly a misdemeanor, and if the plea is accepted as such would set a terrible precedent. Thank you for your consideration.

People who steal and attempt to benefit from other people's hard work and property need to be held accountable for their actions and to the rule of law! That's why we have a constitution!
