For the Board of Directors to notify Islander Homeowners of a $20,000 per unit assessment AFTER the beaches have been closed by state mandate, when owners are facing a rental income loss of $10,000+ per unit, is HEARTLESS! This reeks of a corporate takeover by RQ to force financially vulnerable condo owners to sell during a tragic healthcare crisis when there is rampant unemployment and the threat of serious illness. Unfortunately our disingenuous Board of Directors has assisted in this effort by passing the assessment without a prior meeting to discuss the issues with all condo owners. SHAME on all of you! You will be exposed!

Islander 3009. The timing of an additional assessment is terrible given the close of rentals and resulting loss of income for all owners.

Very bad timing.
An assessment of this magnitude certainly should be discussed at an open meeting of all homeowners.

Ed & Connie Williams...the significant lost rental revenue this year makes the timing unacceptable.
