Surely the club cannot be oblivious to the way we feel about Ian and his commentaries? Ian knows what we want to know when we can not be at a game. he describes what we need in order to close our eyes and visualise things. He is a Blue and a fan through and through yet he gives an honest assessment - if City are playing badly, he tells us so. If we're having one our Brazilian days, he tells us that too. I would never listen to anyone else doing a City match day commentary. Please don't even think of getting someone else to do this instead of Ian (unless of course, he wants to be doing other things. In which case... Ian! Don't do it!)

As a N. American based supporter, Ian Cheeseman is essential to all of those who aren't able to watch due to work. I wish I could listening to his golden tones while I watch the match as well.

He is the best. Unless he wants to stop it would be an affront to city fans if he was removed.

Top commentator and all round nice guy to boot. Ian creates the atmosphere for you so I feel I am at away games as well as the home one. My away day season ticket

Ian Cheeseman was the man who showed me how to say "De Bruyne." Don't take that away from me.

Shouldn't even need a petition for this.
