Ian is an extremely valuable asset to Manchester City and obviously his current Employer and his skills MUST be retained for the fans of the Club who are unable for whatever reason to attend the matches.

Radio Manchester's football coverage has declined dramatically in recent years. Removing Ian would be the final nail in its coffin. He's a great commentator.

Mr Cheeseman is part of Manchester's heritage, itd be sacrilege to remove him from the airways. Often I can't make it to games,Ian brings it to life for me and a lot of Manchester City fans.

Ian's commentary is fantastic, he really captures the essence of the game, and although he's a blue he remains impartial (as you can anyway).
It would not be the same listening to MCFC matches if they were not voiced by Mr Cheeseman.
