I hereby denounce Tom Patton's comments attempting to disqualify mothers from holding political office. I further call upon The Republican Party of Cuyahoga County and The Ohio Republican Party to disassociate itself from Mr. Patton's outdated viewpoint, and rescind their endorsement of the Candidate.

I believe in a society where hard working citizens from all backgrounds, not lifetime politicians, are the best candidates to represent us in our government. Working mothers are a vital part of that representation. I pledge to support Jennifer Herold in her bid to break that barrier and be elected to the Ohio House of Representatives from the 7th District.
