Why not bring down to diesel prices, or at least meet halfway, diesel up a little in price and petrol down a in price that would make more sense.

This will ruin everything, as soon as diesel goes up so do everything else ( transport , haulage, cost of motoring etc) people that bought diesel cars done it to be able to afford driving. This is just another move for the government to make more money.

This would be another blow to rural communities that lack proper public transport systems. Rural Ireland is already suffering with: Garda Stations closed, Post offices closed; Small rural schools under pressure or closing, Lack/downgrading of Hospitals and medical services, No job creation strategy

We were all encouraged by the government to buy diesel engine cars. We should not be penalized.
