To the developers and producers of IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad, as we near the end of development and eagerly wait for the finished product, the apparent simplification of graphical settings coupled with the BUG that manifests a Black screen during game play has become a significant issue for a dedicated number of your supporters. This perfect storm, leaves many of us unable to experience the simulator though the inability to change the potential settings to mitigate the black screen BUG. While true that reducing the resolution or reducing the support to 1 monitor does avoid the issue it reduces the experience that many have invested in to gain this level of immersion.

The numbers impacted may not be significant in absolute commercial terms, but the apparent indifference to the issue as vocalised on the website and forums does not appear to be in line with the ethos that we have witnessed these many months to produce a standout and pack leading product. These backers are the ones that are you most vocal supporters and your ambassadors for the genre.

We ask that at least some development time be spent in a feasibility for a fix investigation and some engagement with the forum members in giving some more hopeful feedback.

Triple screen+ gaming is becoming more prevalent and is a relevant hardware environment with simulators benefiting the most from this setup.

Please hear us on this subject and provide some resource to investigate and hopefully resolve the issue. Who knows, 1CGS may even benefit from this.
