Custody should be equal / shared custody. In a case such as this, both are service members and subject to deployment and should not have to go through this fight every time one or the other deploys. Remember mom and dad, it's the child's welfare-not your ego that rules here.

With my daughter on the same ship, my heart goes out to her. This is not fair and it has to be reconsidered. The men and women on this ship were beyond brave during their deployment, faced many obstacles and came out the best they ccould. Please reconsider her petition.
