I’m appalled at the ignorance displayed by the community towards the mural. The fact that we have to sign a petition to keep it up is even more appalling.

If you see anything other than Unity, Diversity and Equality than you need to take another look at this beautiful mural.

There is nothing wrong with this artwork, nothing is offensive, those that read more into it need to take some time for self evaluation. It’s a great work, the artist/s should be proud. The school and administration should be proud to have students with abilities to creatively express themselves and bring life to the school. Removing this opens the door to traumas and students finding other ways that aren’t so creative to express themselves. I don’t see what the problem is with the art. We live in a time where we need to unite, which is what it portrays.

I don’t see why it should be taken down, it literally symbolizes equality.

Everyone should feel safe going to school. Not all children have a supportive home and school should be a safe place they can let their guard down a little bit. This world is tough enough for them to be afraid to be themselves while learning how to navigate life.

I think that is a very nice thing the school did. I think the students need to read it every time the pass it. Because it shows so much I see peace, love and it represent it doesn't matter what skin color your voice matters
