Heads Up! Campus (The Sports Cathedral)

The Heads Up Sports Cathedral
With over 40 million in America and nearly one billion worldwide that participating on an annual
basis, the YOUTH Sports continues to be one of the most powerful platforms to impacting lives
and addressing the needs of public health.
Participation in sports by children and adolescents is associated with a range of documented
physical, emotional, social, educational, and other benefits that can last into adulthood.
Engaging children in sport and physical activity unleashes a virtuous cycle that bears myriad
rewards for individuals, families, and society. Lifting the number of youth who get and stay active
will save tens of billions of dollars in direct medical costs and economic productivity losses
alone.
But increasingly, many young people opt out of a sustained experience, while others are locked
out due to a lack of resources or access to community programs. Health and other needs go
unmet.
We've built a very powerful roadmap for the next generation The challenge now is to take this
roadmap literally on the road and impact as many communities as possible in terms of number
of kids engaged and improved health outcomes. We are seeking to win national grant funding
opportunities to scale our impact in the communities we serve and we are asking for your
support!
Please sign our petition to build a campus facility that will allow more access to the benefits of
sports and education as we groom the next generation of student-athletes for success on and off
the courts and playing fields. To sow a seed in our mission, Text 'HeadsUpYouth' to 77948 or
visit theheadsupfoundation.org to pledge your financial support of The Heads Up BridgeBuilders
Campaign as we aim to make Sports and & Higher Education (and its benefits!) more accessible
to thousands of underserved youth and families across the Greater Dallas metroplex area.
