Remove the Study-Unit-System for accreditation! Students want credits for every passed exam or project!

HAN students,
The common system of accreditation at universities around the world is giving credits for every individual exam/project or comparable work that has been completed successfully by the student. At the HAN University of Applied Science in Arnhem and Nijmegen (NL) however, students don't get rewarded for their accomplished work immediately, which would be logical and fair.
At the HAN, the students first have to pass every single part of a study unit, which consists of at least three to four different exams plus projects, before they are able to earn the credits for the included workload. This leaves the students under constant pressure, doubting and insecure, waiting for the last result of their hard work while they might have already passed most of their exams/projects. Just failing one of those individual parts would leave you with no credits for this unit at all. This is not fair!
Due to the fact that students are only allowed to fail two study units in order to gain the needed 45 credits, there is the possibility of a student failing a whole year with only three exams/projects failed during that period.
That is why, the study unit accreditation needs to be removed! There has to be an appropriate accreditation for EVERY pass.
With enough signatures, we can change the system and make this new way of earning credits possible!
Let's make the HAN a fairer and more rewarding place to study at!

Het is oneerlijk omdat mensen hierdoor negatieve studieadviezen (VNSA), terwijl ze met het losse systeem dit niet zouden krijgen
Dit is allang van kracht op universitaire studies, dus waarom zou je het niet op HBO ook kunnen.
I agree with this petition. even if you're not good at all of the subjects in a study unit, you might be good at some of them, and that should count for something, that might even be of interest to future employers.
I used to study there. After studying and being 2.5 further with my study, I went for an internship and got hired, so I tried to transfer to Amsterdam and they simply didn't want to release my credits.
Compensating was only an option at the HAN when there were 2 big study units instead of 4 or 5. In order to make it easier for us, they split those study units up, but got rid of the compensating.
time for a change

We are paying to attend a university where our efforts will be fully recognized. By enforcing the cluster system, the HAN is potentially kicking out students which do not in fact deserve such a fate.
