Yes - the language of the bill says that residents along the parking district will have access to permits and guest pass permits.

I think this will be beneficial, when you take a day off work, you never can leave and come back to have a park in front of your home,, very irritating to me to have to come home to this chaos.

Thanks Zen - this is great feedback. I will send your notes to Park Central Development (I assure you they and we are listening) - they handle the permitting process and together we'll do what we can to make sure the permit process is as simple and as fluid as possible. I've also already mentioned to them the need for dedicated handicap street signage, I will remind them again that this is an important piece of the equation. Thanks Again!

I live at the Aventura Apt. and have noticed that during daytime hours Chouteau is completely full of car. And often notice people ignoring already posted no parking signs near our driveways. I think some permit parking would be great.

This has been a complaint for many years and the ward has been reluctant to provide the angled parking -awaiting for someone else to pay for it, congratulations GG.
Station-G is a beautiful building, I'm glad its being saved. I think requiring permits will be burdensome and unenforceable for residents despite whatever eaten costs. Merely having official street signage saying building residents only along the buildings and public parking signs along the park side would be easier and just as good as permits. Both ideas will still require residents to actively participate in warning people that park here, ignoring the signs, regardless of the type of, or lack of enforcement. Residents need to better utilize their rear parking and get official handicap street signage as needed also.

Yes - Aventura will have access to guest passes, and I believe your front office will be issuing those out to each of you once the district is in place. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any other questions!
