Petition for choices of health insurance for the Government of Guam Employees and Retirees

i do not wish to change my benefits... I love my coverage .

The biggest issue I have with the change is that it is very last minute! Actually it almost always is left for last minute decision making by the employees and retirees. I do prefer to have a choice, of course, but more importantly we’d like a chance to thoroughly examine the new insurance offerings in order to make sound decisions about our insurance option preferences.

For the years in service with Select care for me and my wife it was so convenient for use with in the year 2010 my wife was diagnose with cancer, we didn't have enough money to go off island for her treatment, yet Select Care gave us a chance that if we can't make that payment they would assist us by taken care of the bill till we got back now you tell me would the other insurance company be able to do that even if it means here on island. That is the reason that I would say I would like to make my choice on what insurance company I would love to be in.

Me and my wife have duo selectcare she has me on her private plan and I have her on my gov guam plan we never experienced any problems only great service so I don't want to switch, I want to keep my option to choose!

GIVE US OPTIONS PLEASE!!

I feel that we should be given the right to choose our health plan, being that we pay for insurance, that will fit our family needs.

Government of Guam Employees should be given a choice, as well as the private sector to choose their which insurance is best for themselves instead of the government to decide. Freedom of choice!

i would like to be able to make my own choice.

I can't afford this damn insurance

My family and I are very comfortable with all the services we've received from Calvo's Select Care. We don't want any changes in our currect plan. With the new insurance, we don't even know the cost and what options we have.

The intention to change should've been released months ago so that we can do our research and comparison. Some of us don't have the time or access, especially involving an off island provider.
